Answer: Due to some unexplained reason, you have to follow the procedure below to access the MOD -> BEND and MOD -> GLID patch programming parameters in the MOD section of the Akai EWI 3020m:

1) Hit the EDIT button located on the EWI 3020m front panel.
2) Hit the MOD button, located on the EWI 3020m front panel.
3) Hit the UP button, located on the EWI 3020m front panel, until you get to the parameter: MOD -> VIB
You should see on the display:

[VIB]->OSC-A= XX

4) Hit the MOD button, located on the EWI 3020m front panel.
5) Hit the UP button, located on the EWI 3020m front panel. Continue hitting the UP button until you see the following on the display:

VIB->[PWM-A]= XX

6) Hit the MOD button, located on the EWI 3020m front panel so that you so the following on the display:

[VIB]->PWM-A= XX

7) Hit the UP button once to reach the MOD -> BEND parameter, hit the UP button once again to reach the MOD -> GLID parameter.
